Corrections policy

We want Stocknote to be right, and to be open when it is not. This page explains how to report an error and how we handle it.

How to report an error

Email info@stocknote.co with the page address, what is wrong and, if you can, a source (for example the page of the company's release or filing). Errors in automatically extracted earnings figures are the most likely kind, and reports about them are welcome.

What we do

• We check the report against the original source, usually the company's SEC filing or press release.
• If it is an error, we correct the page. For research articles, we add a dated note to the article saying what changed.
• For automatic earnings pages, we fix the extraction or hide the release if the figure cannot be read reliably.
• Material corrections are listed below.
